Sunset Trail

The 6-foot-tall fence was completed successfully behind the homes on Captiva Court that back onto Sunset Trail. The fence incorporated about 8 feet of landscape buffer area at the back of each homeowner's yard. 

The fence contractor, Treasure Coast Fence, had no trouble doing the tie-ins with each homeowner's side fences. The affected residents have been notified about regulations regarding the fence, such as not to grow vines on it or cut gates into it. 

Other landscaping

The board approved the landscape company to mulch all the common areas. The will put down 19 pallets of red mulch.

Street lights

The board is requesting for FPL to install 8 new street lights in Islesworth to illuminate some previously identified dark areas. The lights will be put in two areas on either side of the park as well as around Islesworth Circle, on Marco Lane and Captiva Court. They will be placed where there is immediate access to a transformer, so that no cost for trenching under roads or sidewalks will have to be done. The lights will be installed at no cost by FPL.
