New property manager
The new property manager,
Don Lifland of Capital Realty Advisors Inc., was introduced. The former property
manager, Joe Jakab of Jakab Management Services, decided not to renew his
contract with Islesworth, as he will be working for a larger community.
In a letter to the community dated Jan. 24, Board
president Dennis Rohan had provided this contact information for the
property manager:
- Don Lifland is the property manager assigned to our community and
may be reached at (561) 624-5888, (800) 940-1088, or by e-mail at dlifland@capitalrealtyadvisors.com.
The accounting contact is Chris Bantz, who may also be reached at the
same phone numbers above or by e-mail at cbantz@capitalrealtyadvisors.com.
Capital Realty Advisors' office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday. This line provides an after-hours, holiday and weekend
answering service that will contact the property manager in the event
of an emergency call.

Board Elections
The primary business of the meeting Jan. 30 was to elect new board members. Each year, the five board positions are up for election. This year,
the only five nominees were the existing board members, so these five people will make up the board for
2006:
Re-elected were:
- Dennis Rohan, president
- Jen Jeransky, vice president
- Phil Jacobus, secretary
- Robert Graves, treasurer
- Scott Duckson, member at large
Landscape committee
The Landscape Committee is awaiting a proposal from the landscape
architect to proceed with plans outlined in the October
2005 meeting. Work likely will be done over three to four years
because of budget constraints.
The buffer between the Kingsley property and the homes along Marco Lane
was planted last week, with silver buttonwood, silver maples and slash
pine. The work was a result of the settlement between Pulte and the
Kingsleys. The landscaper also brought sod, which was not part of the job.
The landscapers wound up putting it down along the berm on Berry Avenue,
south of Estella Terrace, at no cost to Islesworth.
