The following summary is provided by Diane Tomasik, resident and
Webmaster.
Property Buffer
Board president Scott Duckson reported on the buffer issue with the Kingsley property affecting
lots 96 - 102. Several complaints were raised regarding noise and the loss of the vegetative barrier between Islesworth and the Kingsley property. Management was directed to send a letter to
Mr. Kingsley to request replacement of the vegetative buffer that was removed while clearing the property and installing
a fence.
The property manager reported that a letter previously was sent requesting payment for
a broken irrigation line. Mr. Kingsley called management to indicate he would not pay for the repairs.
It was decided that the homeowners association would solicit prices from
Islesworth residents Rick Rhodes and Chris Wadsworth to install a landscape buffer. They will be invited to attend the ARC meeting Dec. 17.
Memorial Tree
The board discussed planting a tree at the front entrance park in memory of Kevin Schicker. Mr. Schicker died Nov. 11 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He lived in Islesworth since 1997 and served on our first board.
Paving Proposals
Property manager Jerry Zalben reported that five paving companies were solicited to provide prices for
paving the Islesworth roadways. Only one proposal has been received. Management was directed to follow up for the next meeting.
New Business
Management was asked to observe the condition of driveways and paths for pressure washing that may be required.
